THE RIGHT KIND OF SUPPORT
Know your exposure. Make the next move clear.
Security work should help you make decisions, not leave you with a list of technical terms. I work with businesses and individuals on application testing, security monitoring and practical improvements. You get a clear scope, understandable findings and direct communication throughout.
01 Agreed scope and clear expectations
02 Direct communication, practical delivery
03 A useful handover and next steps
06Service tracks
Application testing, API testing, SIEM support, digital security, hardening and incident support.
04Stage engagement
Scope and authorisation, assessment, prioritised reporting, then improvement and recheck.
10OWASP Top 10 categories
Web application testing is mapped against the full OWASP Top 10 plus the WSTG checklist.
02Professional certifications
IBM Cybersecurity Analyst and Google Cybersecurity Professional, with ongoing practical research.
EXPLORE THE SERVICES
Practical security. Across the places it matters.
Start with one area or discuss a wider assessment of your setup.
01
Web application penetration testing
Understand how your application handles access, sessions and sensitive actions.
Authentication and session handling
Role and permission boundaries
Business logic and input handling
THE OUTCOME
Verified findings, evidence and practical remediation guidance.
Security work is only useful if you can act on it.
No account managers, no inflated findings list. Four things you can expect on every engagement.
01
Direct with the engineer
You talk to the person doing the testing, from the first scoping call through to the report walkthrough.
02
Authorised and in scope
Written permission, an agreed asset list, a testing window and stop conditions are settled before anything starts.
03
Evidence, not noise
Findings are verified and tied to business impact, so you know what to fix first and what can wait.
04
Confidential by default
Client systems, reports and evidence stay private. Nothing from an engagement is used as public marketing material.
HOW IT WORKS
A clear process. From the first conversation.
You know what happens next, and what each stage delivers.
01
Agree the scope
Confirm the assets, written permission, access and any production constraints.
Authorised testing boundaries
02
Assess & verify
Review the agreed systems and verify issues with evidence and business context.
Validated findings
03
Explain the priorities
Separate the urgent fixes from longer-term improvements and discuss the report.
Report & remediation plan
04
Improve & recheck
Support agreed fixes and validate the changes where retesting is included.
Retest notes or support handover
METHOD & COVERAGE
Recognised methodology. Not a scanner report.
Testing follows published industry methodology so coverage is explainable and repeatable. These are the standards the work is aligned to — not certifications held.
OWASP WSTG
Web Security Testing Guide
Structured coverage of authentication, session handling, access control, input handling and business logic.
OWASP ASVS
Verification standard
Application security requirements used as the checklist, so gaps are measured against a defined level.
OWASP API TOP 10
API risk coverage
Object and function level authorisation, excessive data exposure, and tenant separation across endpoints.
PTES
Execution standard
Pre-engagement, intelligence gathering, analysis, exploitation and reporting handled as defined phases.
CIS BENCHMARKS
Hardening baselines
Linux, service and configuration hardening reviewed against established benchmark guidance.
NIST CSF
Framing the response
Recommendations grouped as identify, protect, detect, respond and recover so priorities are easy to plan.
WHAT YOU RECEIVE
Findings you can explain. Actions you can take.
Each assessment is documented around the agreed scope. The report connects technical evidence to the decisions your business needs to make.
Executive summary and assessment boundaries
Findings with affected assets and supporting evidence
Need help with Wazuh, Splunk or logs that aren’t telling you enough? Start with the sources, alerts and operational questions that matter to your environment.
Share the applications, APIs or systems involved and the outcome you need.
02
AGREE THE TERMS
Written authorisation, testing boundaries, timing, deliverables and cost, confirmed before work begins.
03
TEST, REPORT, IMPROVE
Verified findings with evidence, prioritised remediation and a recheck where retesting is in scope.
BEFORE WE BEGIN
Your questions, answered.
What is needed before testing begins?+
Written authorisation, an agreed asset list, testing boundaries, timing and an escalation contact. Any production constraints are discussed before work starts.
Can you test a live application?+
We can discuss production testing. The approach, allowed techniques, testing window and stop conditions must fit the application and your operational needs.
Do you help fix the findings?+
The assessment includes the remediation guidance agreed in scope. Hands-on fixes and retesting can be included or arranged as a follow-up.
Can you help with Wazuh or Splunk that is already installed?+
Yes. Support can focus on log ingestion, agents, rules, dashboards, alerts or stability issues, depending on the environment and available access.
Do you work with individuals and small businesses?+
Yes. Account and device security, email protection and practical reviews can be scoped for individuals and smaller teams.
How are scope, price and timing agreed?+
Share the applications, APIs or systems involved and your goal. I’ll discuss the access needed and propose the deliverables, estimated timeline and cost before starting.
Does an assessment guarantee that no breach can happen?+
No assessment can guarantee complete security. Testing identifies issues within an agreed scope and time.
